Vintage Taxco Mexico Hand Crafted Sterling Silver Link Bracelet with Pin Closure. Dimensions: approximately 6 5/8"length x 1 1/8"w at the widest points.
The pin closure chain is approximately 3. The main condition issue that this early bracelet is dirty, even harboring some old sterling polish. However, the amount of cleaning will be left up to the new owner, as some of us like a deep, dark, rich patina that reflects the vintage quality of the piece. As might be expected for an early 1930s piece, the pin for closing the bracelet is not perfectly straight, but it still functions well. There are no end caps in any of the conjoined link ends, and therefore, there is sometimes slight extension of the pins when the bracelet moves.
The gorgeous silversmith work on this bracelet is both strong and feminine. Each of the six sterling links are connected by pin hinges. We are not claiming that this is a Spratling design since we can not find Spratling's hallmark on this bracelet, but there are definitely Spratling design elements in this fantastic early Taxco bracelet.
