For sale here is a SUPERB and SUPER RARE possibly even one of a kind handmade vintage 1950s 60s 970 silver and genuine pearls modernist design cuff bracelet by Antonio Pineda. Incredibly rare and possibly one of a kind!
Striking signature Pineda modernist design with three rows of concave circular sections with the outer rows oxidized for contrast with the highly polished silver, and the inner larger row oxidized and with post-set genuine pearls centered in each depression. Measures 1-1/4" wide at top with 5-3/4" inside circumference plus just over 1" gap at back but fits my 7-1/2" wrist snugly, and weighs an impressive 82.4 grams total. Marks as shown including the Antonio crown mark, "970" for 970 silver (nearly pure silver higher quality than sterling), "Hecho en Mexico", also the cooperative marks and Los Castillo for the silversmiths that made his designs for him during the period of labor unrest in Taxco during the late 50s and early 60s.
